Edward J. O'Brien, DC

Dr. O'Brien is an accomplished practitioner who specializes in treatment of the neurological and musculoskeletal system, with emphasis on disc, joint, and spinal disorders. After he obtained his BS degree in Human Biology in 1994, Dr. O'Brien attended New York Chiropractic College and graduated in 1998 with honors.

Dr. O'Brien has been a Certified MUA Practitioner (Manipulation Under Anesthesia) since 2007. He currently is credentialed at two renowned surgical centers in NYC. Additionally, he has trained with the doctors who invented the Antalgic Trak Spinal Decompression system and is certified to perform advanced cervical and lumbar spinal decompression. He is currently a member of the American Spinal Decompression Association. As a Strength & Conditioning Specialist, he utilizes rehabilitative and exercise techniques to complement his treatment.

Dr. O'Brien's treatment methods, although cutting-edge, always empasize a conservative approach to allow a person to achieve maximal benefits with minimal intervention. He prides himself on helping those patients who have not benefitted from traditional medical care or who would prefer to avoid pharmaceutical or surgical intervention. However, if necessary, he is always prepared to make the appropriate referral when a patient requires coordinated care with other health care professionals.

GELBUDA, DC, MPA, MS, is a board certified chiropractic phyisician who also specializes in functional and integrative medicine.  He has a master's in health management and administration from New York University and another master's in nutriton from the University of Bridgeport, Connecticut where he studied chiropractic medicine. His background in sports from track,marathon running and tennis gives a patient the actual knowledge an athlete both weekend or professional needs to know.  Furthermore he has worked in the ambulatory, hospital  and home care settings developing nutritional protocols for children and adults. He has worked in Westchester County in a rehabiliation facility for several years and in New York City .
